Does anyone have experience with FreedomPop?

LukeS

Hello,

I am a 16 year old student with no job at the moment (I am a volunteer EMT). I do not have a phone plan (I've been using the "family phone" (fun idea my dad had for me and my sister sharing a phone)). I've looked into phone services (in the USA) (Verizon, AT&T, Criket, Straight Talk) and all of the sudden FreedomPop came up. It sounds like a good idea (500MB per month, free text and phone)... But it sounds too good to be true (TANSTAFL). Anyone have experience or a review of FreedomPop? I couldn't find one on the forums.

Thanks!

I have no experience with them. But I can tell you T Mobile is pretty good provider. It might be a little more expensive them Freedom Pop but they dont have overages if you go over your data allotment. I just think they might be worth looking in to.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
