Is it worth upgrading to an i7?

I currently have an i5 4690, a Palit GTX 1060, 8GB DDR3 2400mhz RAM. Is it worth upgrading to an i7 4770(k)/4790? It would be for heavy gaming: Witcher 3, FO4, Just Cause 3, ETC. I might eventually start streaming

CPU: Intel Core i5 4690 3.5GHz

Motherboard: Asus Z97-P DDR3 ATX

RAM: Kingston HyperX Savage 8GB 2400MHz

GPU: Palit Geforce GTX 1060

Case: Zalman Z9+

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM HDD, SK Hynix 256GB SSD

PSU: SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W

OS: Windows 10 64-Bit

Not really the most CPU bound game in the list is fallout and you could just overclock, ~10% improvement is not worth £200+ on a new cpu

if its just for gaming i would say you dont need to upgrade, the CPU isnt really the bottleneck here

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

It probably wouldn't be full price, I could sell my i5 and I have general other stuff I'm planning to sell, and I could buy preowned

Rather wait for Zen and Intel's response, with competition again things will begin to move.

the 1060, but if its just 1080p gaming there is no real reson to upgrade anything

I'm not upgrading the 1060 :) I just got it, It's not even in my rig yet. I might eventually go up to 1440p but the 1060 is better than my old card so i'm happy
