Don't try and get another 680... you're way better off just buying a newer card. you won't have enough vram to play the newest games in 1080p with 680s.

Gaming Desktop - AMD FX-8350, Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0, 24GB Cosair Vengenace RAM, EVGA GTX 760 SSC, 240GB Sandisk SSD Plus, 4TB Mass storage, EVGA 750W G2, Rosewill Throne

But why? SLIing low end GPUs is just not worth it. You'd be better off selling the 1st 680 and getting a single GPU. Depending on your budget, the RX 480 / Gtx 1060 should be right up there in price.

Yeah man, the gtx 680 is old news now, it will not be bottlenecked by the i5. However, I highly recommend getting a newer GPU like a 1060/1070 and put the 680 in as a physx card ;)

Much better to have a single faster card than 2 slower ones.

and I have seen 780 ti cards go for ~150 USD which are by far much better than 680 sli.

still man. Save your money and get a good GPU. The 680 is way past it's best by date and in the long run, power-performance is quite crap. But if you really want it, I am noone to stop you

There something clearly wrong there... a used 780ti is somewhat stronger than a 970, yet it goes for that much cheaper? Doesn't seem right to me.

Denmark isn't as bad as Brazil, though. Both cost 450$ here, instead of only one them costing a lot more than it should.

I get that man. But still, your far better off saving up for a better gpu. I'm going to assume you have the 2gb model. That 2 gb of vram is going to limit you long before you get the performance of both cards. I know it sucks, but bid your time, save up over the next few months, then sell your card and get an upgrade that is worth the money

Take it from me, I have two 680's their good and all but for the price a newer and better single card is way better. Hence why I just bought a 1080 (overkill I know but hey why not?)
