Some audio echo at 3:12.

the thing i hate with these "non-user serviceable" computers is you have to void the warranty to clean the dust out of it people don't live in clean rooms so give easy access to the rad/heatsink and fans otherwise you have to file an RMA every time it needs cleaning.

Question about the mixed metal water blocks.

 

Does the water contact the mixed metals?  it looks from this angle like the aluminum portions of the block are transferring heat via contact with the copper not the water.  But I can't tell from here.

you can but you'd need to put some fingers in there to hold the fan just in case the air blows it fast enough to create some voltage, and these days they put warranty void stickers everywhere so even removing a side panel could void it.

@LinusTech:  the waterblock is made of copper - you can clearly see the sealing nuts (or whatever they are using) on the edge of the block. The aluminium seems to be only a radiator mounted around the waterblock.

It's quite interesting about the cooling cause Linus said that main intake is in the side panel, but those wholes in the bottom are connected to the area between the outer shell and inside cage. this gap can be seen very well in 8:03 minute in the video, and I guess it's second air intake that is working.

If the water only actually flows through the copper part wouldn't the aluminum be a non issue? Just a cheaper material to transfer the heat to copper where it is dissipated through the loop. 

 

I didn't look closely if the water flowed through all of the block or just the copper part. But I am assuming that is what they would do.
