Played around with some older hardware yesterday but didn't have any luck with the chip, anything over 2200MHz on the RAM it straight up didn't boot, and it didn't like anything over 1.8V.

Still was able to get in to the top 20 on HWBot, so that's something ?

Scores are looking pretty low, you'd really benefit from dual channel, also, those mq haswell chips can be overclocked through the turbo bins and will accept higher power limits so you could probably boost that score by at least 20%

The scores are low because for some reason it has a power limit so under full load it runs at the base clock speed (2.7GHz). I guess Lenovo has set that limit to keep temps down.

At least it got better scores than my school's HP ProBook 470 G1's with i7-4702MQ and 16GB RAM. They got 442 in R15 and 1114 in R20.

Will xtu changes not go through? You should be able to just adjust the power max to a higher value and it should go through, and with that you should be able to bump your all core turbo to 3.9ghz for maximum performance.

I have got same CPU as you, i7-4800MQ on dell latitude e6540, and few days ago i've got 1395 points on cinebench R20.

Now there is one problem, when I start cinebench again, cpu clock start work on 1,7GHz - new score is 750cb. Whats happen?

Do you have Intel XTU installed? With it you can see why it drops the clock speed.

And can you post a picture of what settings it has on advanced tuning, cores page?

Not bad at all for a discontinued chip! Now waiting for the new AMD stuff to finally show up (it's exactly a month before retail will start selling them). Let the battle commence!

Main System: 2 x Intel Xeon Platinum 8268, 384GB DDR4 2933 ECC, 2 x NVidia 2080 Ti FE, 2 x Samsung Enterprise 3.2TB NVME PCIe Gen.3x8 SSD, custom water cooling.

Jumper and a few others have XOC results. And since the sheet prefers max OC runs you're alright.

Not required: post a picture of your LN2 setup (if you have one). It's not required for submission, I'm just interested in seeing what you got.

I actually didn't take any pictures, I just recorded a short clip, from which I took this screenshot.

Something really basic and simple, also pretty much the most random collection of fans ?

I have better pictures from other sessions, but the setup is pretty much always the same :D
