Well you're you and I'm me, just going for a budget build.

Agreed.  That said, there isn't necessarily anything wrong with it.  You might want to consider newer parts and/or a better CPU/GPU to start, but it depends on your budget and what you can find.  Would you consider used parts?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I mean, if I literally only had 300 bucks to spend, I'd probably go on Craigslist and find someone selling a lot more system (albeit a used one) for about that price.

I can't say that any of those parts would be my first choice.

1. I would go used

2. I would have gone with a 860k and 265 preferably with a MSI mobo for a better warranty no extra fan one of the budget fractal/nzxt cases etc

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

For me it depends on what I'm going to be playing. I certainly don't plan on playing Crysis 1/2/3 on this PC. I'm not going to play the newest games at 4K on this, I know its not capable, I'm just going to use it for what I know it can pull off.

Nothing wrong with the build since it's a budget build. But I think that the 750Ti is a bit of a waste when you can find used 7950/7970 with 3Gb of VRAM for less than 150$. Those cards will destroy the 750Ti and are still relevant at 1080p. Don't be reluctant to search for used part, especially for a budget build

CPU : i7 8700k @5GHz, GPU : ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX, RAM : 2x8Go 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance, MB : ASUS Prime Z370-A, PSU : CM V850, Case :  NZXT S340, CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken x62, Monitor : Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165Hz, OS : Windows 10 Home 64 bits

I did switch to an EVGA GTX 950, so that's good.

Nice but I was trying to do everything off Amazon. But If its cheaper, I'll switch to other merchants.
