You sure? Most headsets have the mic of the left side.

That's what i thought at first. Though there are a few cases where earphones and headsets from low brands are cheaply made, and don't follow the standard we expect from our audio solutions. so it's possible he's using a cheap headset where they've flipped the audio, from left to right, and vice verse. It would be convenient if he provided more information, like branding, weather the issue occurs in games only *A good way to test this is to use softwares like razer surround, or your headset brands software, to configure your audios "Surround" and check if it's flipped there.*, what audio solution he is using and more.

Most headphones have their wires on the left side, along side a microphone. I do hope he provides more information to us so we can help him.

My apologies if i assumed your gender incorrectly, i use him/he, because it's easier to type while i'm tired.

Kind regards, and have a great night,

Matt

Try opening the playback devices, selecting you're headphones, then going to the advance tab and changing the setting to a different format. You can change it back afterward, all that's required is that it's changed. I had that issue on my old usb headset and I think that's how I would go about fixing it.

Edit: I should probably also mention that this was just a temporary fix for me.

To be honest, is it that much of a problem?

Try adjusting it in Windows Playback Devices
