My PC Build

The link is the same as your last post, but if you made the change to the RM650x, I'd say go for it. And keep the leftover [cash] for yourself.

P.s. Fractal Design R5 w/ window is the same price if you're into showing off your rig.

I'd recommended you watch a few build videos, especially the 2+ hour ones and build it yourself. And definitely post pics!

Replace the cooler with a CM Hyper 212 EVO. I know you almost made the whole build, but wont you consider a Skylake build?

EDIT: Also, I would wait for the NVIDIA GTX 1060 benchmarks. Rumor has it (and NVIDIA claims) that it is 15% better in performance than competitors' (ehem AMD). Its priced at $250, same as your Sapphire 480.

While I don't have any experience in music production, I think below would do just fine:

i5-6600 or 6500

Any H170 board or B150

GTX 1060 or 1070 if you have the budget

16gb or DDR4 RAM

SeaSonic G/X Series, about 650W would probably do

1TB WD Caviar Blue

Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD

Case is your choice

Look up the price in partpicker, it's blocked in my workstation. (shhhhhhhhhhh)

I don't use Kik. But you need the standoffs that look like teeny screws with a hollow hex nut. Then check the manual to see if you need the metric or the standard screws for the motherboard.

You can also post the pictures here if possible.

Those prongs are there to ground out the motherboard. They should have been bent back slightly and not broken off, but hopefully you'll be fine.

I'd see if you motherboard manufacturer can send another. While I haven't heard of anyone losing a computer over this, it does serve a function. But continue your build and call them.

yes. They usually give you more than you need. If one doesn't go down, remove it and try another being careful not to strip the taps or dies (standoff or chassis)

If the standoffs are already in the case, drop your motherboard into the case and find the screw that's missing. If they're all present, you need to find the shorter screws which are + heads and see which fits the extra standoff since they're either metric or standard.
