My RX 480 steam vr performance test results

XplosiveNoctua99

so, I go my rx 480 today. :D

and I have played some games, all of which were close to double the performance of my gtx 960 :D

and i did the steam vr performance test because i want to get a vr headset. and.... i'd seen that online.... it only gets a score of 6.4

and because i had done a little overclocking.

it got 8.1

thank you AMD :D

My PC Specs: CPU: Core i5 4590 @ stock speeds, GPU: RX 480 8GB, RAM: 16GB DDR3 @1600mhz

Stock? That's quite high for stock. Even aftermarket OC'd 980s are only hitting 8.5-8.9.

Also he overclocked it to get 8 and all chips are different so the 980 is still better

Yeap that's about where a 1400mhz gtx 980 should be.

Most factory oc'd cards boost to around 1300mhz so they hit the 8.5-8.9 mark.
