BF4 BETA Benchmarks Released, AMD Takes CPU Performance Crown.

Overclocking applies to the graphics card as well, you're probably looking at the maximum FPS, not counting the massive dips, especially when the server is full and quite hectic.

Also no GPU overclocking, but in order for my game to run smoothly, all I need to do is drop the settings to high, and everything runs perfectly fine. But then the servers can't handle the loads and crash 20min into the game...

the game seems to be well polished already.

Lol, all relative I guess but i've seen alphas with less glitchyness and massive server-lags. That being said its miles ahead of the bf3 beta.....

My 4770k and 2x 780 in SLI will lap this game up... And hopefully other games on the same frostbite 3 engine like witcher 3, battlefront, dragon age 3 and the rest of the EA games planned for the next few years.

Woot!

I'd rather go by my actual experience than believing benchmarks at this stage, random issues can occur on any machine in a beta.

I'm already impressed how well its going without final optimizations.

Beta wise, I am averaging 45-60fps while recording dxtory 1080p 30fps

1080p, Ultra with 2xAA

Without recording I'm sitting pretty at an average of 55-70

CPU @ 4.2ghz HT is on

GPU @ 1100/1600 at the moment

Runs pretty flawlessly besides the obvious unoptimized dips, like when it comes crashing down... apart from that, my single gpu has a smooth experience.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

You really need a 28nm GPU to play this game, the older cards are really struggling.

no shit gtx 560 1080p goes around 40-60 fps on the lowest setting though the game still looks awesome at those settings

this is one of the greatest thing that has happened to me recently, and it happened on this forum, those involved have my eternal gratitude http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/198850-update-alex-got-his-moto-g2-lets-get-a-moto-g-for-alexgoeshigh-unofficial/ :')

I've a pair of 7870's in CFX with the latest Beta Driver from AMD, and its still quit choppy at most detail levels. I think there is a general problem with suttering right now, tried it with RadeonPro's DynamicVsync (framepacingoff) and also the other way around, best result where without frame pacing and letting Radeon Pro do its work.

AMD Ryzen 5900x, Nvidia RTX 3080 (MSI Gaming X-trio), ASrock X570 Extreme4, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB @ 3200mhz CL16, Corsair MP600 1TB, Intel 660P 1TB, Corsair HX1000, Corsair 680x, Corsair H100i Platinum

Yeah 1080p with ultra everything + 4xaa I was hovering around 75-85 fps entire time, I'm sure once nvidia+ EA sort out the rest of all the kinks etc, it'll be tons better

Wow the i3s got destroyed. Struggling to deliver half the framerate of the sandy bridge i7 or the fx-8350, both in terms of minimum and average.

I guess dual cores are now a big no-no for gaming.

Does this beta include mantle Rendering path for AMD GPUs and CPUs? If it doesn't i suppose this is useless in terms of tryin to predict the performance of the final game on AMD hardware.

Bought 300$ card for Battlefield 4 and it is not even utilizing it at all to fullest! Giving full load on my CPU though. Should have bought 8350 instead of 3570k :'(

I7 2600k 4.2GHZ

EVGA 770 2GB SLI

1920x1080 everything at the highest even MSAA 4x and EVGA Precision X was reporting 1200-1300 mb during normal game play with peaks of 1680 mb vram during heavy game play. 2 GB in SLI is more then enough for this game on ultra with AA and 1080.

Yes, especially considering the six core AMD CPUs are less expensive & perform significantly better.
