Can i unlock my r9 290 into 290x?

my gpu already clocks high because its under water, but i want to know if i can unlock the core from 2560 to 2800? 

does that memory type seem for the unlock ? if someone could let me know if its good to unlock or not?

Probably not, modern hardware makes that a LOT harder to do.

you're using outdated diagnostic tool, the hawaii info is like from the 2013 or something, nobody remembers how to use that.

If it's one of the the old ones then maybe but the newer ones are reported  to not be able to be unlocked anymore.

plus, 1100MHz on core I wouldn't call very high... I had an XFX DD Black air cooled running 1100MHz core and 1400MHz memory

Bruh......

A 390 IS a 290, it just as higher clocked ram and more of it. They also generally clock a little higher. But you can't get that from a bios.

What would you call high for a 290 (and average?)

yes you will have to go to msconfig and find where it says gpu: gtx 480 you replace gt with r

That and add an extra 2.5GB to the PCB, just solder a 512mb and 2gb mem stick to it.
