Problem of Lenovo Laptop

dreamhacking

Hello,

I can't remember the model name of this Lenovo Laptop.

It used to turn on successfully before with 1 try, but now it will enter re-boot, and can take up to 5 mins to load OS

I swapped with another SSD to check if it's the hard drive issue, and also tried booting with one ram stick at a time but problem is still there.

Takes way too long for it to read and load the OS.

What is the possible problems? If not the hard drive or ram.

Thank you

Make sure that the boot list in the bios is correct and that the delay for the hdd is set to either 1 or 0

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

If it is taking along time to load make sure as well that you don't have too many start up programs too. The only ones I recommend having are drivers and your security program as stuff like drop box can be started when you need to use it as its unlikely that you would use that all the time. If when you turn the laptop on you just see a splash screen, like the dell logo etc, try pressing tab to see what is going on in the post screen, note: it might not be tab but another key look up you model to find out. to enter the bios it is normally delete or f12 or it may say on the boot screen.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
