CPUs can work with a bent pin?

I'm almost %100 sure one pin bent when I was transferring my PC from case to case a couple days ago, but it works. Is it dangerous? Specs in sig.

Sometime it actually works flawlessly with out a pin or two, but maybe suddenly ur pc goes to shit because it need that pin, so ye try to fix it using a hollow  led  edit: mechanical pencil

So it would be worth fixing? If it is I'd do it when my i5 arrives (currently on an i3-4170)

It depends on what the pin does. I think in your case, that pin was non-essential, perhaps a ground pin. If you had bent a pin used for data transfer, boy would you have been fucked

You can cause more damage that way. I would keep using it as is unless you start getting issues.

Well its your decision, I would personally fix it cause I don't know the probability that it is crucial to the system, I think if you don't have Alzheimer you should fix it

Some pins are for dual channel, ram slots, pcie, some are dummy pins, ground pins etc. there are plenty pins you can go without and still have a functional pc

The pins need to contact the pads on the bottom of the (Intel) CPU. If you look at the bottom of the CPU you'll see that the pads are quite a bit larger than the pins. A pin can be bent a fair bit and still contact the pad. As long as the pin still has enough "spring" to it and doesn't short against an adjacent pad, it's fine.
