G2A Scammed me!?!?

clean

I recently bought a prepaid visa card to use on G2A to purchase a csgo skin from bit skins.  When I went to purchase the skin (using G2A pay) I waited for verification, then immediately was band.  They took my money and there support is very bad.  I warn any one who uses this website to buy games software... to PURCHASE WITH CAUTION.  I was blaienly scammed by a multi million dollar company and advice all to stay clear of them.  If any of you have suggestions of how to get my money back that would be appreciated,  but other than that be warned that this is a bad website that will take advantage of you.   Please use this website with caution.  I would not advice the use of credit or debit card on this site.  You  have been warned.

I've bought plenty of games from G2A and I've never had a problem with them. I've never bought skins though because they go through another external site. The game keys go through G2A so maybe you need to find out what happened through BitSkins.

Honestly dude you just need to have patience and try and work it out with their support. You most likely didn't get scammed it was most likely just an error with the network or something. Why not just buy a Steam card and buy skins through steam so you don't have to worry about this kind of issue next time?

yeah, their politics say that all external/3rd party sites aren't their business, they only make sure the money you input goes to them.

I've bought tons of stuff from G2a, never had an issue. They aren't scammers, they just have a bad morale and terrible customer support. But it's stated they aren't responsible for other websites that aren't theirs.

It was G2A who band me, I still can access the other site and deposit money using other means

Not too surprising, G2A is a pretty terrible company, often selling stolen or keys gotten in immoral ways.

Anyone who appreciates games, developers, or future content wouldn't use them.

They dont get the keys themselves

They are a middleman

If you bought a bunch of keys on steam while a game was on sale and stored them as gifts you can sell on there

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I believe we actually have an industry affiliate for G2A on the forum here.  Perhaps they can help you

@G2A_Team

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/4fntxu/gray_market_key_resellers_and_what_they_mean_for/

also the hundreds of posts from both buyers AND sellers about getting scammed out of their money or product, then not getting a refund

plus the fact that G2A keeps your credit card info forever

plus the fact that developers are often trying to cancel or invalidate those illegally sold keys

plus the fact that some keys resold are actually bought with stolen credit cards

Appreciate people like EA charging ridiculous amounts for a complete game because you have to buy the DLC's to have any content, minus single player? ..
