Windmill Automated Website Testing

i've benn loking for web or some course that explain how Windmill works.

can somebody help me (im using this for my tesis)

 

and also http://www.getwindmill.com is the only website that provide full explanation to this Framework, but it seems that the website is long gone

 

any help will be appriciate

Why do you want to use a tool that is no longer maintained or well documented?

 

Use Selenium Webdriver instead, its the most popular and you can find loads of documentation and help online.

Every other have been used by my senior...

So sir... do you know whre i can found Windmill explanation ??

Wikipedia doesnt help much.... so little information about this framework

Even their project page recommends using other tools. It does include a getting started section though which could help you out.

 

If you know someone who uses Windmill, you can get them to teach you, or provide you learning resources. Otherwise you may have to Google a lot and see what you can find. Depending on how popular it originally was, there may not be a lot around for it but I'm sure you can dig up some stuff to get you started.

 

There may also be old books on the subject that you could pick up. From a quick search the only book I came across is Beautiful Testing: Leading Professionals Reveal How They Improve Software but it looks like it only has one chapter on Windmill (about 10 pages in total). There are probably others if you dig around.
