1020 FPS in game -will that damage my gpu or my 60 hz monitor ?

there is a game whenever I start it

I get 1000 fps according to msi afterburner and rivatuner and I need to go to settings and turn on vsyng then it gets back to 60 fps

the proplem that game does not remember settings

so every time I turn it on I get 1000 fps

You don't  have to enable Vsync, only do that when you get tearing. And no, you are fine.

The card will draw lots of power and it will get hot. But it should be built for it.

Lol, no. There are some games I play that, if I turn off V-sync, it says I'm cranking out over 2000 FPS. Your GPU will only crank out as much as it can and will automatically limit itself, and you monitor will only use what it needs and dump the rest into the ether.

The monitor will only ask for a new image every 1/60th of a second (so 60 times per second) no matter if you get 60fps, 30fps or 1000fps. it wont damage the screen.

Not a problem at all but you can limit the FPS to 60Hz which will use much less GPU power and produce less heat (helps a lot in the summer). As far as I know there's really no advantage to rendering more frames than you need other than for benchmarking your card or bragging rights. Since I usually use v-sync (I don't have an issue with latency like some competitive gamers), my card automatically caps my fps to my monitors refresh rate.
