I bought a 970 as a temporary card a month ago, going to sell it and pick up the 1080ti Hydro Copper upon release.

I could've gotten one. I was on the web page for buy it now. 5 mins later it sells out. But the opportunity was there for me if I wanted. I was just seeing how long it took to sell out, as in waiting on EVGA FTW.

I went out and bought me a brand new hybrid 980ti instead of a 1080. Extremely happy with it.  I'm not really itching to buy the latest technology I prefer to wait until others find faults (and suffer). Once the tech becomes mature, I'm game.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
