I wouldn't go for a Trion, they're TLC based (iirc) and are just meh.

I'd try going for the far superior Arc 100, which you can get the 240GB version of for $70.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Topic. I plan on getting an OCZ TRION 150 SSD, but I would like to know if theirs are any good. The only reason I'm considering them is that I'm strapped for cash and would like something to help Windows boot faster.

trion 150 is ok but 100 series is way too slow.

Do some check on this:  http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-internal-hard-drive-r3240gb

SM controller, MLC flash... used to be priced high.  I guess no one was buying.

i dont hear much bad things about them now

but if you can afford it an 850 evo is definitely a safer choice

At least 120GB. I was planning on installing Windows and maybe two or three games at the most (depending on how big they are, of course!)

Seriously, look at the AMD one.  It is made by OCZ and outperforms the Arc 100 and the Trion 150 in some regards.
