Corsair H115i Questions

Okay, I read a bit more about AIOs and I'm leaning towards the H115i.

 

I have read that there is some limitations with the software but my question is if the H115i has a variable pump sort of like the X61? So instead of setting a set pump speed, the pump can control itself via software and adjust accordingly.

I believe so, it''ll be either a Corsair Link thing, or it'll just plug into the motherboard with a PWM connector and the motherboard will just treat it like a variable speed fan. You might just be able to check Corsair's website and get a definitive answer. I know a lot of manufacturers just go the PWM route, but I know that Crosair Link is pretty integrated into their newer AiO's.

Thanks but I'm still unsure. I read that due to firmware issues, even Corsair Link cannot variably regulate the pump. You can only set like quiet mode and performance mode.

 

Perhaps this could all be solved if i just plugged it into a PWM fan header? Does the motherboard then take control of both the pump and fans?

The MOBO cannot distinguish between a pump and a fan connected to a PWM connection. But it sounds like you already knew that the AiO you wanted already had issues, why even bother asking us then?

Does anyone know or know where to find the exact hose sizes (width/length) on this aio? I have looked everywhere, including Corsair's site and I can't find the info
