So I got a corsair k70rgb brown, and currently the at2020usb+ which broke, so I am returnong it. I am asking for a good microphone that is able to remove/lower the keyboard noise. I already have a shockmount and a mic boom arm. I have also heard of noise gates for audacity but I want a live noise gate for shadowplay, curse, skype etc. I have heard about putting a towel over my keyboard could work. Could I get the same result of that but only hang a towel where my mic is blocking off making a barricade between my keyboard? Thanks for your advices!

No, as sound would bounce around the towel and hit mic.

Don't think audacity has a real-time/live processing option.

All desktop microphones that i know of have this issue which is why you see some people favor modmics as they arent as sensitive and closer to your mouth.

But modmics dont offer as good audio has more expensive desktop mics.

Your best bet is the towel trick and/or getting O-rings/landing pads for your keyboard.
