GTX 950 W/o power connector?

so i'm working on a special build and this would be the perfect answer for me. 

apperantly Asus released two GTX 950's that lack PCI power connectors. its powered entirely from the PCI slot's 75 watts.

now I've been looking, I need the Mini GTX 950-2g, I can't find either of these cards anywhere! 

You can find the GTX 950-M-2GD5, it looks the same but has a 6-pin power connector.

 

any information would be greatly appreciated

from looking into it, they all have the connector but some models do not NEED it.

yes thats one of the models! perfect! but I am in need of the Mini model. it looks exactly like the one linked in the OP. we're getting closer but I'm hitting up asus with an email

Yea so far everything I'm finding for the mini is the one that has the six pin attached to it but still is registering as the mini card that is talked about in that article, hopefully you will be able to communicate with ASUS. Unfortunately I haven't had the greatest experience with them. Good luck.

In the article in the OP if you click on the card mentioned it takes you to this official Asus page! you can clearly see in a lower picture that it has no extra connector and its on Asus' website. so you know it exists. anyway i've emailed them so hopefully they get back to me soon. http://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/MINI-GTX950-2G/overview/

I know that EVGA has 950 models that doesn't have that 6-pin for power.

There are three models on their website but even with an exact model numbers in google I can't find anything.. why is this so hard? people want to buy your product! maybe i'll email EVGA as well and see if they'll reply just in case Asus Doesn't

 

EDIT: EVGA actually says those cards are "coming soon" theres no definite date I can find though.
