So my friend has been living in jealousy of the master race for a while. He recently  got his hands on a comp for free from another friend of his. He asked me what he needed to upgrade it, and Idk. I know that his PSU is 500W, he has 8GB and his hard drive will be fine. I dont think hes going to drop more than $350 USD on it.

AMD FX-4100
Nvidia GT 520
GA-M68MT-S2

This is all i could get out of him.

I think a used gpu would give a lot more value.

Or if he wants a new one just buy the i5 and mobo and then save up for a gpu..

(This is not skylake cus im re-using the rams)

Of course he could sell the FX 4100 + mobo + gpu and he could get more money in hes budget.

The 4100 is only going to hold him back in CPU heavy games, otherwise it's basically as fast as a 750K/860K which you can find a lot of benchmarks for

Wait for the polaris GPUs that are coming in 2 months, if not, then upgrade the power supply and get a 380 4GB, I say upgrade the PSU, because you probably just want a new one anyways
