Is tape a good idea for holding down a green screen to the floor? It is part of a 2 piece screen. One big screen goes on floor and the other big screen goes on wall. I already know how I will mount screen to wall. Just not sure about how to hold screen to floor. Because the only space available is outside front of garage door. The wall screen is a cloth like material and the floor screen is a plastic or paper looking material, not saying it is plastic or paper, just that it may look like it is. Thanks for the help guys!!!!

Depends on the kind of tape.  Gaffer tape is the one you should really be using, or even better you should use clamps.

EDIT: however I am familiar with both types of materials you are using and my recommendation is be careful and if at all possible and affordable for you, use clamps and other methods to stretch them out instead of using something with adhesive.  The two materials you have in the first image, the one on top will be more susceptible to fraying if you repeatedly stick and pull of adhesive tapes.
