First of all, I apologize.

Yes, I'm from Texas,

no, we do not talk in idioms as such in the title.

I'm sorry for that horrible idiom.

Second,

My Galaxy S6 can be pretty snappy and capable of some heavy duty stuff,

but the vast majority of the time, the S6 is so slow that the phone refuses to let the screen turn on half the time.

What in the flipping flop is going on?

Please help so you guys can save me from future embarrassing situations while trying to use Samsung Pay during a long line at McDonalds.

I love samsung, but this makes me miss my iPhone sometimes.

Also, my battery gets to like 50% in idle mode while power saving mode is on. also likes to overheat.

notes:

1) I've tried cleaning plenty of storage, although my storage is STILL almost full

2) I frequently use clean master.

3) ??? turtles.

4) My phone is not rooted. I've already tried to root and apparently the AT&T model doesnt have a root.

I'd personally stay away from clean master, mainly since it's not officially provided by Samsung. I also have the Galaxy S6, but I am satisfied with the Smart Manager App and clearing cache manually. I just don't trust those programs since they have a chance of interfering with system files accidentally, like Ccleaner.

Also, I have noticed that the recent Android Marshmallow update for the S6 did introduce some bugs that are annoying, including google voice bugs and connection issues no matter where I was. Not sure if this applies to you since you live in US, and I live in Canada.

Keeping the storage almost full is a bad idea, especially when your using a high-end phone with high-end specs. I'd delete unnecessary files such as photos and videos, or keep them backed up. Since there isn't a SD card slot, it can also be a problem depending on your usage of apps and such. Just note that keeping a good amount of free space provides room to make your phone fast and stay fast. Also, turning off power saving may help if you have it turned on. Just make sure to turn it back on since the battery is horrible on the S6 if your using it frequently.

If none of these solutions work, back up your data, and factory reset your phone.
