i5-4590 Overclockable?!?!

So today I was messing in my BIOS for fan curves when decided to what turning on OC Genie would do and after hitting save and exit, I expected an overclock failed error but was surprised that in task manager the maximum speed went to 3.43Ghz (I didn't take a picture, I could if you really want) So I decided to change the CPU Ratio in the BIOS and see if that effected speeds... And it did! I also took some pictures to share with you. I'm still confused since I am using a B85 chipset and a non-K Intel CPU, but still overclocking. IMG_0201.JPGIMG_0205.JPGIMG_0204.JPGIMG_0202.JPGIMG_0203.JPGIMG_0205.JPGIMG_0206.JPGIMG_0207.JPG

If you wouldn't mind, try doing a Cinebench R15 run when it displays 3.3 and then again when it displays 3.7. Do you have an ES chip? or is it complete retail package you picked up at a store?

Will run Cinebench but I bought it off Jet.com. Came in retail box unopened how would i check if it's ES?

On top of the IHS it usually says "Intel Confidential <line> #### ES <line> manufacturer origin (Costa Rica for example)".

You haven't actually overclocked anything. The i5-4590 goes to 3.7 GHz stock.
