After 13 years with Nvidia, Leslie Pirritano leaves them to join AMD

She has recently been hired at AMD, working on VR and Augmented Reality.
Her first endeavor was to upgrade her purple rig with 3 Fury Xs, all in a purple water loop in a rather unique case.

My thoughts? I like the idea of a Game Dev who has been so active in the community and industry take on even more responsibility regarding DX12 and VR.

I have a red and black color scheme, because red is my favorite color and it's the easiest color scheme to do with current hardware. That said, if more hardware was purple, my color scheme would be purple and black for sure.

even some colours which are usually considered ugly such as yellow, brown, etc... can look amazing if done well

600 series wasnt nerfed so meh :P

I get the feeling #2 was something the vendors asked for, nvidia benefits from broken laptop GPUs.

I got 70kg of pure copper at home. Sure i can get a bit of money selling it, but if i can find someone willing to smelt it and roll it into chassi parts ill do that instead :P
