50% WASD or any button for this matter.

Guys and girls,

So after doing a lot of Fallout 4 me and my buddies started to play GTA Online again. My friends all play with a controller i do not, many people may share my problem : A on and off throttle does not work for driving away. So that got me wandering, in Fallout you have a walk toggle  (for me hold down c or toggle with caps) By now you probably get were i'm going with this. Would it be possible for other games, like a mod or some software? Like when you hold down another button so the the game thinks its the controllers trigger at 50% or just slower input. I found post on other forums but nothing lead to anything usefull.

Have a good day and thanx for your time,

Fus

I knew someone would say that :D But i'm not about to chop up my 100 Euro Keyboard. And it's basicly only for GTA

I don't blame you

But that is all you can do I think

I'm not sure about driving, but for general movement... Well, that's the sprint key.

But to do what you're saying specifically, you would need a piece of keymapping software that works in reverse. I'm not aware of one, and I think it would have to fight with Windows (like that shortcut keyboard Taran did a video about), though somebody else here might have something.

If you want that level of customization, I'd highly suggest the Steam Controller. You can make it do damn near anything.

"Do as I say, not as I do."

-Because you actually care if it makes sense.

GTA's driving isn't that bad with a keyboard, just that instead of holding the gas pedal, you have to keep pressing it and releasing it all the time.

It's certainly not as bad as Watch_Dogs where it was 0 or 100 with cars, no in-between, making it near impossible to do a lot of things. (so I played with keyboard/mouse when on foot and the controller for the driving only)
