Nerd Sports is Apparently Free

I was going to Vessel Site to sign up for the free trial. I was wondering what would happen if I tried watching Nerd Sports: Episode 1. Low and behold it let me. So if you pay for vessel you get to watch it early. This makes me really happy.

Well it's been like that for a few days you can watch the first episode for free without a vessel subscription.

It's usually a few days for vessel subscribers only, then it's free.

When it means Vessel exclusive, means that only Vessel has it, not YT or Dailymotion.

Should have waited for the whole series to come out and bling watch it. I have a subscribtion but I haven't watch any of it cause of time.

Nerd Sports is technically free, just how every LMG content is free as well.

This way people can watch it, see how its not about tech, realize they dont need to watch this, then they can stop complaining about paid content

Its not LMG Content. Vessel made it. Vessel hired LMG, like you hire actors. Therefore it's not LMG content, it's vessel content.

did you know LMG is a media production company?

they make videos that you will never see because they are sold to companies for ads and stuff like that

so quit complaining, vessel is just another buyer, no different from the rest

but its not LMG's video

it has been purchased

 

just like when you purchase something from a store, you own that thing, not the store

and this is no longer linus media group's content because it was sold to vessel, so vessel owns the content

not everything LMG creates will be available to view by the public

Idk what more you want to expect, i know those nerd sports videos are not really by "LMG" but made from LMG and goes towards Vessel ownership or so.

"Want to be totally clear on this - Vessel has decided to make this episode free, but (to my knowledge) they have no plans to do so with episodes 2-5. Don't want to confuse anyone thinking that there will only be a 7-day window on the rest of the episodes."

The release schedule and platform availability is totally in Vessel's hands, as they commissioned the series for production. It is their series, we are simply producing it. To my knowledge, episodes 2-5 will not be coming to the free platform 1 week after release.

Thanks for sharing that. Didn't know that was a thing. But i really enjoyed that, had reservations about it being bland before. But I was totally wrong. Very funny and the LMG crew were great. Also the shirt names were hilarious

Before I say anything, I just want to preface this by saying I have a Vessel yearly subscription.

 

But there's a huge distinction between LTT making an obscure video for a client, and them making a series funded by a Vessel, the sole purpose of which is to entice LTT fans to subscribe to a paid platform.
