120GB Kingston HyperX Fury SSD Health

This is normal right? I got an 98% Health, should I be worried? I'm just using this SSD for the OS and some files. I use a 1tb WD HDD for my games.

if you've been using it for awhile its normal

its an estimate based on the write cycles you have left :D

When it's at 1% then start worrying.

no i just don't care about it, and I doubt the 99% stat. you wrote 15TB to it.

In our area there are power outage at a certain time frame somethimes I get caught in the brownouts. Does it take the health? I usually just browse the internet when the time frame comes closer.

well SSD have about ~1000 write cycles (for the crappy ones)

15tb is just 62.5 times my hard disk's capacity

so its about 6.2% of the available write cycles xD

rough estimate, dont go hatin

brown/blackouts wont damage your hard disk unless your psu have crappy safety features

what a bad ssd will do during a blackout is data corruption as it doesnt have enough capacitance to finish off what it was doing after it lost power lol

but damaging is rare, if not none

if you have frequent brown/blackouts, yes

i invested in a UPS even thought i've only faced 2 blackouts in 10 years, because having a blackout for your computer is not fun lol

Yes, a ups would benefit your computer greatly with frequent blackouts.
