Eh, maybe. Neither are really for bassheads. The M50X has slightly more bass.

It might be enough to satisfy you, or it meight be that NEITHER will satisfy you. You might even be better off with something like a Sony XB-950.

I woulden't quite classify my self as a "basshead" but you could be right. I've tried my friends m50x's, and I liked them decently at the time. He says the bass has really burnt in, and is better now. What about the DT770, what do you think about thoes? :) Thanks.

The DT 770 Pro 80 Ohm will have more bass.

And they're all around pretty good otherwise? How does the comfort compare to m50x's?

More comfort.

Or you could get M50's they have a better price and the exact sound as the m50x's

They don't have the exact sound of the M50X, and further they lack features such as a removable cable; and have inferior earpads.

The correct, cheaper alternative is the M40X. The correct better alternative is the DT 770.

removable cables are not a good feature. The two I have had with that is the only two headsets that stopped working correctly. Startet to get contact problems. And I only took the cable out of them 2-3 times during their lifespan (Both about $100-150). Never buying one like that again.

I have the M50 (non X), and they're very good for the price.

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.

They're an excellent feature because they can be replaced. I have had a lot of fixed cables fail due to shorts or other problems. At $130+, the M50 is still overpriced.

Thanks for playing, though!

It doesn't help to replace the cable, when the connector inside the headphone gets damage.

Only have had problems with fixed cables on cheap headphones. Have about 15 different headphones.
