There is no point in deciding now. Polaris/Pascal and new Intel/Zen CPUs are around the corner, and the partlist will be entirely different by next summer.

okay but say if i was to buy it this summer if i can get a good summer job i have 1/2 of it saved already... what would you think of it?

Would still wait for new GPUs, which arrive this summer.
