Building the smallest, high end PC, ASUS Magnus VIII Impact, SG13 case, i76700k, 980 ti

First time here, first ever build planning. Gonna build my gaming rig for VR soon. My question is about the asus VIII Impact motherboard and airflow in this tiny case. This is a tall motherboard, and the mobo power and ddr4 slots are sort of in front of where my cpu fan will go on the SG13 case.

Now, given that I want to overclock this i7, should I be worrying about overheating? What scares me is there are about 6 fan plugs on this mobo, but given the quality of the board, it should disapate the heat well? Idk.

The only fans will be the H55 corsair cooler, the psu fan, and the fan on the EVGA 980ti. Can all those fans I can plug into those ports for automatic or modular control? Should I get this board or any recommendations?

Thanks,

Lee

Is there a reason why you want an impact? Usually, I find them overpriced.

I'm looking for a good board with everything in it because it's a tiny case. I'm not sure if I should be sold on the fact it has built in wifi, a dedicated sound card, or o/c buttons and stuff on the outside. It's expensive for sure. Any recommendations?? I was thinking the z170i by asus but it's old? :D thank you

It doesnt come with customer support (and by extension a good warranty) same with GB to a lesser extent and Asrock to a greater extent.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

If you want "small high end", you most likely need an ITX X99 with a 6800k or a 6850k. Or higher, but that's on you.

And for the GPU, you either compromise power in favor of being smaller (Fury Nano) or size in favor of power (980ti). Though I'd wait for Pascal, as the 1080 MIGHT be better than the current 980ti, just like the 980 was better than the 780ti.
