I guess next time it can add a floating option, making it possible to your leave mobile phone suspended in air when you release it from your hands mid-air, thus preventing falls.

If they said something about the capacitive screens being able to detect the evenly distributed capacitive gradient of a fluid then it'd be more believable then saying it can sense the water temperature.. And if it did have a way to shut off your phone instantly when it comes in contact with water then it would work, all you'd need to is clean it with distilled water and let it completely dry for the phone to be 100% operational.

Not necessarily, that would be 100% true if there was no battery in it, but you can't remove an Iphone battery so...
