I can't tell you about the A but I have the Pro and my i5 6600k is sitting at 1.35v/4.7ghz overclock.

It was extremely willing board and easy to do.

Yea Pro is awesome choice , but adds 50$ more to budget. I'll think about it :D

The Pro does have a better audio codec, but still has the same audio set up. Also I think it may be built to higher quality - but that is more speculation as any improvement  wouldn't be visible and so not able to be confirmed. Though how does ASUS justify a $50 price increase for ditching some features like on board buttons, and only adding a newer audio codec + solid black PCB (i think), so that leads some to believing its a better made board...

I do believe that there isn't much that's a better value than the ASUS-A, except maybe the gigabyte gaming 5/6. But I do think there are better boards to buy than the Pro for the same kind money. The ROG ranger is like $10 more than the Pro, or for little less money the Gigabyte UD5 is also a pretty solid choice.

I was going to buy the Asus-A But I went with a gigabyte gaming 6 as it was $20 cheaper on sale. But when I wasn't looking for the best overclocking experience when I was board shopping, but I assume everything these days will get nearly the same OC results, but ASUS probably has a superior experience.

Spoiler

Corsair 400C- Intel i7 6700- Gigabyte Gaming 6- GTX 1080 Founders Ed. - Intel 530 120GB + 2xWD 1TB + Adata 610 256GB- 16GB 2400MHz G.Skill- Evga G2 650 PSU- Corsair H110- ASUS PB278Q- Dell u2412m- Logitech G710+ - Logitech g700 - Sennheiser PC350 SE/598se

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

My board runs way cool even at full loads for, well realistic to me, time periods.
Even with it being higher quality, I think you really shouldn't have to worry.
Asus makes great boards and that's why I buy them.
The A or Pro Gaming are both around the same price and are quality boards. You wont go wrong with either.

Yes, that is what makes it a more expensive board. Is $50 worth the quality?
If I have less of a chance to damage my board and extending it's life, IMO yes, its worth it.
But I also had an expansive budget and got it cheaper on a combo deal.
