Windows Failing to Update

Every time I try to launch Windows Update, I get this error message. 

 

0x80246008 

 

Is there a way to fix this?

Upgrade from Windows 8.1. That's probably where something was messed up. However I can not do a clean install (as the LTT community loves to do) because this is a family computer.

yeah well this is a common problem after upgrading to windows 10

the only solution is to clean install, which is what you should have done in the first place...

 

time for you to back up the data and do a wipe

which you probably havent done in a while anyway
