14-150 gives you 28-300mm which is slightly wide to a decent telephoto

Hi i'm looking for suggestions for a lens for a lumix G3, i'm not that in the know with cameras, the lense is for my girlfriend, i know the camera isnt that new and could proably do with upgrading but wondered if it was worth investing in a nicer lense as hers recently got broke by the cat -__-, the camera isnt for anything professional just for hobby, she is wanting something which can be used as an all round lens, so good zoom but also would work for normal close shots, budget isnt really set so looking for best for cost really. Thanks in advance

Go to a photography store, tell them what you want and they will recommend a lens for you.

Look for a MFT equivalent to a 18-200mm type of lens.
