So I've been sort of considering getting a Chromebook, and the Dell Chromebook 13 looks to be the best option. Besides maybe the 14" HP Chromebook but my school uses those so I might not want to get one of those to avoid any possible confusion.

I would give the i3 6100U a try on Ubuntu  and using Wine to get WoW  to work or try Windows and try to play World of Warcraft but I would probably get a better laptop for that if Wine or Steam In Home Streaming or Windows doesn't work very well.

I just want a Chromebook to do mostly what a tablet could do but maybe better.

Has anyone used the Dell Chromebook 13 and if so how is it?

I am not sure, but a chromebook is pretty useless if you don't have it connected to the internet.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

Lol I'm well aware it needs the internet to do much. That's why I'd either use tethering or mobile hotspot on my phone. Or use Wi-Fi provided by like a hotel or coffee shop or something like that.

I dont think that you can play wow on it and if you want it to do what a tablet can do, but better then why get one without a touch screen unless you dont want a touch screen.

The touch screen wasn't the make or break part. :P Laptops are a little more functional than a tablet ever could really be.

Eh it might. Depends is the i3 6100U with 4GB of RAM worse or better than an A8 6410 with 8GB of RAM?

The limiting factor would probably be RAM. Though Dell probably made the RAM non upgradable. Which kinda sucks but not a huge deal. I did say that it wasn't a huge deal if it might not be very capable of playing wow. (Worse than an A8 6410)

The i3 is better but the ram is only 4gb, I know that you can get it with 8gb of ram I just dont know how much it will cost you.

You can buy them from Dell with a 5th gen cpu and I am sure you can find a shop that has them with 6th gen and 8gb ram if you need the ram, but then you might just buy a windows pc and put the OS you want on it.

I'll probably spend more for the extra RAM since it's still Chrome and still RAM hungry.
