Worth upgrading from Hyperx cloud to ATH M40X?

Will there be a big difference in sound/comfort? I really like my hyperx cloud's, but it's time to upgrade to something better since the build quality isn't the best and they are kinda ugly tbh.

Having a removable cable, 2 different lenghts of cables and being able to fold it up are all really big advantages IMO.

So is it worth upgrading to the M40x's? I've heard that the m40x is almost the same as the m50x's and are really not worth it.

No need to recommend me other headphones like DT770's.

i have the hyperx cloud and i love them but the thing with them is the have two cords wich is annoying but the ATH M40X has a big round cord it has good audio and everything but i think you should stick with the Hyperx cloud

For gaming I would say no, since soundstage is very little.

M40X, I wouldn't consider that an upgrade. I'd personally consider that a sidegrade at best.

It won't be for gaming, just music and movies.

Well as Sobe said it's more like a sidegrade not a upgrade. The biggest difference is the sound signature and if I remember correctly they are not that different in that.
