Samsung S4 infected by lnk virus

Hey guys,

 

Looks like it time for me to consult your expert help for android phone issues

 

My phone was infected by the lnk virus when i was scanning a USB drive which was given to my end user.

 

yes it was a stupid thing to do, but i still self pwn myself here.

 

AVG detected the lnk virus pretty quickly but because my phone was also plugged into my PC for charging

 

it also got the virus as well and my files got hidden by the lnk virus

 

malwarebytes could scan PC and thumbdrive but was unable to scan the phone

 

what are the ways to remove the virus from the phone?

 

i wish i can reset my phone but i have important work documents inside it which i need to refer to all the time.

 

and my email as well

Can you transfer through USB? Because a factory reset seems like the only way to fix this.

i wish i could transfer the files but i think they are hidden on the phone by the virus.

 

like i have mentioned, reformatting the phone is really the last resort because of my important data

 

my boss will kill me if i lose that data

Try downloading Samsung's adb drivers.
