So I was thinking of going with a kraken x61, however I didn't know if there were other options that were quieter out there. For fans I was looking into more of the Rosewill Hyperborea 140 mm fans becuase they have decent static pressure and good airflow CFM without being too loud. I would like them to be black or black/white fans with no LEDs. I might be doing this in a phanteks luxe or a nzxt phantom 820, either case supports 320mm rads so that is an option for a AIO 320mm unit. Suggestions? Thanks.

Corsair H100i has fan speeds settable via Corsair Link, it's loud when the machine boots as the fans max but after boot it's dead quiet

The fans it comes with by default are SP120s with no blue ring or LEDs

idk

This I know, however I was looking for more information on the not so much name brands, I previously had a kraken x60 in my first build that kept my fx 8350 nice and frosty however when I was gaming it sounded like a jet engine taking off and it would do the same thing, max at boot calm afterwards. You could control it via cam (which people don't like but honestly every software has it's bugs so I learned to deal with them). But I will leave you a like since you were nice enough to respond I'm a fast manner, I certainly do appreciate it. :)

I think the Nepton series is branded as the quietest, but if you just get an AIO from like Corsair, CM, etc. then you can get aftermarket fans from like Corsair, Noctua, and be quiet! And just PMW control them to your acoustic needs.

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

This is true...sometimes I over think stuff pretty bad would you suggest a Swiftech, Nzxt, or corsair AIO cooler?

To be honest, I see Corsair the most. The H100i is like the most used AIO on PCPartPicker. However, based on comparison videos from Linus and other YoyTubers, it appears that the Kraken X61 (I think that's the best one right now right?) outperforms the rest by like a degree or so. The Kraken X61 with NF-F12 Noctua fans was the best cooler in one of Linus's videos, it might have been the Corsair AIO GTX cooler video. Honestly, I probably wouldn't go Swiftech cause I don't see their brand used that often. Kraken X61 + Aftermarket Fans is a great idea, or a H110i maybe. I think Corsair's are louder. The Cooler Master Nepton series has quiet pumps though.

Dont forget Cooler Master. Their Seidon and Nepton series are good products. The best 120mm AIO for simple upgrades is hands down the Seidon 120m or 120v, lots of them are used and they are great. The H80i obviously performs better, buts it's at a higher price point and has push pull.

However, if you ever plan on getting a full system loop, EK WaterBlocks makes a kit that only has a pump, reservoir (usually pump reservoir combo), tubing, and a CPU block for just CPU cooling, and allows easy expansion if you ever get money to just get a GPU block and some more tubing.

I might have to look into the ek one but I'm just trying to silence it as much as possible, I like AIO cause they are maintenance free and the GPU is the water cooled evga 980ti I will be building with. I plan on getting an aftermarket fan for this as well.
