can my system run 29" 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor?

i am planning to upgrade my monitor from 23" 1080 to 29" 2560x1080. but i was wondering if my system can run it smoothly?

 

gpu gtx 760 4gb ,cpu intel core i5-4430 @3.00ghz ,  RAM 8gb.

 

i tried searching on google but i can't seem to find straight answers. TIA!

This is the first I've heard of the Core i5 4430 (just checked, and yes, it does exist).

 

No, you have to get a 22" or smaller monitor.

Alright, I was just having a laugh. It's the resolution that matters. You won't be seeing the smoothest framerates or the best fidelity settings, but you should be able to make it work. However, the GPU is a lot better suited to simple 16:9 1080p. You'll get better framerates and higher settings with that resolution

I have a AOC 29" 2560x1080 21:9 and use it with my Alienware Alpha (GTX 750 Ti/GTX 860M - 2GB) and I get smooth FPS anywhere from 30+ depending on game settings.
