Hey guys,

 

I just received my very first mechanical keyboard(Logitech g810) today and i must say i'm loving it. Image below. So i was wondering, what is your keyboard and what does your desktop(literally top of your desk) look like?

This is the keyboard on a Acer Aspire E1-531 (Version: 4GB RAM)

CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate with red LEDs and MX Blues. I love it. I don't have a photo but here's the board.

 

 

As for my desk, aside from my setup (specs in sig) I've got lots of plant life (two cacti, a random flowering shrub and a fern) and several gemstones, because I'm into botany and geology. Also a coaster made out of a reclaimed PCB I cut up and filed down.

Its brilliant. Not one problem at all! Not too little and not too much G-keys which is what I like!

A pretty cheap (~45 USD) TKL mechanical keyboard with unknown Kailh Yellow switches (similar to MX Blacks). I'm happy with it so far, since it's my first mechanical keyboard. I'm waiting for my o-rings to come.

I'm Bulgarian too. I was pretty surprised when I saw the Cyrillic keycaps on it since most mechanical keyboards don't feature it. I might swap them with something else if I find a good deal.

Nice man! There are some really cool key caps for Kailh and Cherry switches. I wouldn't mind swapping some of my keys out, like the WASD, or even getting Cyrillic key caps. But my g810 has romer-g switches, for which key caps are non existent as far as i know. So will have to wait and see if Logitech or a 3rd party comes up with a solution.

I'm seeing a lot of oversized mouse pads with keyboard partially on the mouse mat... that would bother me to no end. I've put 2 oversized mouse pads on my desk just to cover the entire keyboard area too.

A corner of my ginormous mouse mat even overlaps my monitor stand XD. It doesn't bother me that much though, at least it doesn't bother to the point yet where i would have to invest in a second mat. All personal taste of course, i suppose.

I wish I could find that somewhere with MX blues and blue backlight!! But it's hard already to find a Quickfire Ultimate with MX blues and german layout.

Strafe with CMX Reds (non-RGB). Love the fact that it's amazing at matches my mouse brilliantly at 33% brightness (and the logos look very similar at first glance).

K70 RGB reds (1st wave with new logo ) Using default ripple effect with pink base colour. Bought in November 2014, no signs of wear.

@Thony I really like the K70, and had been considering it for a long time, but i decided to try the rover-g switches of the g810. (plus i got The Devision for free with they keyboard, so that was an up side XD)

Sadly, it doesn't. But with the way I type, I would hover over it anyways, so it honestly doesn't bother me nearly as much as it would for other people. Also thanks. First time I've actually had matching peripherals, even though my mouse is a solid 2 1/2 to 3 years older lmao
