new build within $800 price range, need suggestions

hey guys, i was wondering if i can get your opinions on building a new computer for $800. im looking for the biggest bang for the buck and maybe a little "future proof" (i hate to call it that, but i would like something that can be easily upgradeable in the future as well as good specs for current gaming) i dont do much hardcore gaming like far cry or anything but i would like something that minecraft wont lag on (JK) the games i play are world of tanks, minecraft, runescape, need for speed rivals, call of duty. and thats pretty much it. im new to this building process, i know how to put it together, but the part im having an issue with choosing the right components that fit into my budget. im looking to pay anywhere within $800-$900 build.

let me know if you need any additional information.

and thanks ahead of time!

Welcome to the forums.

To give you some ideas, you should tell us what must be included in your 800 USD budget. Is it just the machine itself? Do you need an OS, monitor, periphery?

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

Probably need to say location (US$ or otherwise) and if you're willing to buy second hand parts for the added value for money.

Would you need an operating system? (Windows)

Monitor?

Keyboard/Mouse?

Do you already have any parts you could repurpose for this build? For example an optical drive or USB memory stick to load the OS from.

800 - http://pcgamehaven.com/best-800-dollar-gaming-pc-build/

900 - http://pcgamehaven.com/best-900-dollar-gaming-pc-build/

You could get away cheaper if you already have a suitable case your willing to use. That can fit these parts.

As others have said, depends on what country you are in. Also if you need the other stuff that goes with a PC.

As small as an xbox.. sell your console, throw this together and put it in your living room. Don't know if it would push 4k very well, but I would likely max 1080p plenty fine. Feel free to drop the optical drive, switch cases, and change storage if you want :)

HDD are cheap and bumping it up to a TB would still be in budget.
A lot of people buy a TB stock and never use it up.

I´d go with something like this. Has a powerful current gen Skylake and a good mid range GPU that will do very well in 1080p.

Plenty of space left for you to up the SSD to something a little beefier or just get a mech. keyboard or anything you could imagine. Even get a couple of games.

The build is rock solid for 1080p gaming and gives you even more headroom for upgrading in the future.

Well I went this route, because your budget is too tight for a system SSD and a storage SSD IMHO. Storage should be considered at elast 1 TB+ for games, data, music, etc.

This build allows you to put the OS on the SSD and your favorite games and all other stuff is just fine on a slower disk. I personally use HDD´s here for my rendering and compressing as cache drives.

As small as an xbox.. sell your console, throw this together and put it in your living room. Don't know if it would push 4k very well, but I would likely max 1080p plenty fine. Feel free to drop the optical drive, switch cases, and change storage if you want :)
