Sounds kinda cheap, maybe, but it's a lot of money here in the country, considering a camshaft for my truck costs around the same and i got the entire truck for R$7500,00

473 USD sounds like a lot of money for a GTX 970 anywhere in the world, considering they go for about 330-350 USD in the USA or about 370 euros in the EU

But you're from Brazil right? Heard everything from outside your country is expensive, since the import taxes are so high  (Because Brazil wanted the economy grow, by having produced there)

Exactly, everything is overpriced because the imports are simply not viable anymore.

Even back in the day when the conversion of USD X BRL was around R$2 per US dollar (it's around R$3,66 per US dollar now, was higher some months ago), the "internal tax laws" would come in and double the price on said product for the purpose of scamming some money because of "import fees and illegal entrance of selling product in the country",a legal fine, even if it was for personal use. If you wouldn't go to the postal service (Correios) and pay said tax, they would not give you the product and you would lose your entire purchase.

As they call, Republic of Bananas really, with PT in charge of the country, corruption all over the place (even NY Times is getting some coverage on this, today), companies closing their doors, people not being able to pay for water and energy, well it is rough.

And some even bother to think the left wing is good for the countries, just look what leftists did to Brazil, they crushed the country.
