-Answered- Minimum Power Requirements for GPU's

Hello i was looking into a gpu upgrade in my pc; I have a motherboard with a 16x slot, a quad core processor clocked at 3.6ghz, but a nvidia geforce gt 730. i was thinking about buying an nvidia geforce gtx 960, and the website says a 400 watt PSU but i have a normal 350 watt PSU. it requires a 6 pin connector that the PSU has so idk.

You may possibly need to upgrade the PSU but put your build in on Pcpartpicker.com and look at the estimates.

I would upgrade to at least a 400 watt, maybe 500 watt, which both come in at a fairly affordable price from $30-$50. Hope this helps!

Anything over 400 watt that you can afford. Redundant wattage doesn't harm you

A higher wattage PSU will be needed, just make sure to get a quality one though. Also what is the rest of your build?
