I tried a couple of things, just running it with my usual setup with a 4k monitor attached and programs running in the background as usual and that netted me the lower of the two results. Second time I disabled my 4k monitor and restarted my computer netting the higher result, quite a difference, still planning an expensive upgrade to get a new computer for myself not only for VR though but very excited about it nevertheless.
