Need to know if its worth an upgrade

This is a friend's of mine and the question is if its worth getting upgraded. It has a gigabyte motherboard, if anyone as any thoughts feel free to have input.

The power supply and the GPU look pretty bad. Very dusty. I think it looks to be a small upgrade or a whole new system.

Doesnt look like there is an SSD

Few things to talk about.

Firstly, Extremely dusty, id clean that out asap.

Looks like a chinese unbranded power supply so that might blow up if you add any components that will draw too much.

Graphics card looks measly.
Motherboard is low end

Mechanical hard drive.

 

If I was him id sell it and buy a new setup.

I was thinking that as well. He does need to dust which i told him he lives in an extremely dusty environment.

It's going to be at least a sandybridge era setup as the motherboard says USB3, but looks like either an AMD mobo or one the non over clocking Intel ones.

 

I'd say get a whole new system, and take more care of it!
