Bes Macbook for netflix on the bed?

Hello guys! i want to buy a Macbook (first time i buy one and i want to try it) and i'm really confused about the branding scheme, which one it's the "top of the line" and which one it's the ""budget"" ? and the real question, which one it's the best for watching movies in the bed with headphones? (Price doesn't really matter)

Ty and sorry for bad english! <3

Erm, does it really have to be a MacBook? But if it has to be a MacBook no matter what, I would pick the MacBook Air 13".

Look, I do understand that macbook looks slick af but don't just throw your money away like that,

If all you need that PC for is netflix, I suggest you buy any 1080p laptop with at least i5 processor.

For Basic use and ultra light weight, the macbook is the thinnest and lightest, but lacks performance and connectivity

The Normal macbook pro I would avoid

the 13 and 15" Retina Macbook Pros are the top end models, the 15" has a GPU for advanced editing or gaming, the 13" is smaller and ligter

IMO the 13" retina pro is the best option, unless you need a GPU

MacBooks are great for that tiny niche of people that want a premium quality laptop that lacks Windows robust game support and doesn't offer workstation performance.

I don't mean the above sarcastically, there really is a market for premium(as far as aesthetics, build quality and basic performance) laptops/tablets.  Basically a premium laptop for day to day work and media viewing.

My original post was a joke, but I honestly can't stand Apple.  I think what drives me to dislike apple is the hipster culture where I live.  Louisville is chalk full of hipsters who will all claim their apple products are better without knowing any technical details whatsoever about said product.  "It's better for media editing", "It has a retina display", "It has an A9".  It just drives someone like me to the edge.

Install windows then :) works great on parallels in coherence mode! :P

I know what you are saying, and maybe it was just in jest but it gets tiring hearing the hate on like every damn topic on this forum

Well the Macbook is passively cooled, so..... it wouldnt matter

and the retina pro does not really air from the bottom, its solid metal,... so again doenst matter
