RMA my 980ti? Pease help!

Dr_Pleeper

Hi, I just ran firestrike and got an extremely low score of only 18k points on graphics for my 980ti. Someone is saying that he pulls 18k with his regular 980. My 980ti has a core clock of 1300 mhz which is faster than normal but gets lower score? please help!

Current Build: Core i7 4790k @ 4.6, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz 8gb (2x4gb), GTX 980ti, NZXT Kraken X61, Fractal Define R5  EVGA Supernova B2 850w, Some 300gb hard drive.

Wait, what? 18k is good.

Not for a 980ti, i googled the score and most 980ti's are pulling close to 20k and over.

He says ehh, have you seen evidence of his score. I would Google it and see what results are out there because I think the card is fine

Yep, that's at 1500mhz. Post a link to your run so we can see what's up. We have the same CPU so you're doing something to get such a high score.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Why do other 980ti scores show over 19k? are they overclocked?

This one scored far higher with a lesser core clock http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5221778
