A cooler for the X4 860K in a M-ITX build:

Will the Noctua NH-L9a work fine with the 860k? I've seen several builds with it installed, but am worried about thermals.

That cooler will be fine.

I only ask because of what Noctua says on their site. They claim it's only for use with 65W CPUs.

What case will you be using? If you have plenty of airflow then that cooler will be fine, if not then you will need something else.

I have a CM 130 Elite, and I'm not happy with the temps on stock, that's why my options for cooler height are limited.

I have an H7, and, aside from absurdly long shipping times (it shipped from Taiwan), it's the best cpu cooler I ever owned.

Smallsnor: Huawei Matebook X

Pentax KM w/ 55mm f/1.8 SMC lens

Zenit-E w/ 58mm f/2 Helios lens

I would look into a Cooler Master GeminII M4, it should fit good in your case.

It literally says nothing about TDP in the official description on the manufacturer's site.

Edit: Completely replied to the wrong person, sorry.
